Several award filmmakers receive cash prizes
The Uganda Communications Commission has awarded the best filmmakers in northern Uganda. The awarding ceremony saw many filmmakers in different categories walk away with cash prizes and various awards. The winner and the runner-up were given Shs 2 million and Shs 1 million, respectively. The best film directors and actors, among others, were also reorganized at Hotel Africana in Moroto District.
