Museveni to retire seven generals
President Museveni will preside over the retirement of seven generals who have been serving in the force at various ranks and areas of deployment. Speaking to NTV, Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye said the generals retiring are part of the 1,300 lower-ranking officers who were retired in July. Among those set to retire next year is General Katumba Wamala, the former army commander.
