Refugees and host communities trained in life sustainability projects
With a refugee influx of over 1.8 million people in Uganda, the Office of the Prime Minister, in partnership with various organizations, has begun training refugees and host communities in life sustainability projects.
According to AVSI Foundation Uganda, the initiative is aimed at reducing the burden on the country to provide food assistance, while empowering refugees to become self-reliant and support their livelihoods.
