HEALTH FOCUS: How refugee communities are complying to COVID-19 rules
A study by Makerere University School of Public Health on compliance levels of COVID-19 prevention guidelines shows variations in knowledge across refugee settings, with those residing in urban areas being more knowledgeable on average than their rural counterparts. The Principal Investigator Dr Gloria Seruwagi says the majority of the adult refugee population exhibited very high levels of awareness about COVID-19 but with low compliance.
