Uganda hosts up to 1.9 million refugees who face daily hardships, including inadequate food, bedding, and shelter. However, an innovation contest is flipping the script, offering more than 200,000 euros in funding to entrepreneurs developing creative solutions to improve mental health and economic opportunities for displaced people. The initiative aims to unlock the potential of refugees not just as aid recipients, but as drivers of lasting social and economic change.
