Examining Uganda's civil society's role in the electoral process|MORNING AT NTV
Civil society is a critical pillar of democracy, acting as a watchdog that protects citizens from arbitrary decisions made by the state and market forces. In Uganda, its role in electoral democracy has grown over the last decade, especially in promoting good governance. And what does its presence add to the opposition landscape? We unpack these questions with insights from Harold Kaija, Secretary General of PFF, political analyst Joseph Ochieng, and Sarah Bireete, Executive Director of the Centre for Constitutional Governance.
