2025 CHAN VENUES:Profiling the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Uganda
The Nelson Mandela National Stadium in Namboole, Wakiso district is the only stadium that was passed by CAF for this year's Championship for African Nations due to kick off on 2nd August. The 28-year-old sports complex was constructed to supplement the World War II memorial stadium in Nakivubo. The 36 million dollar facility recently underwent renovation in preparation for this year's CHAN tournament and the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
