Tanga acknowledges President Museveni’s concerns in the NRM primaries
Tanga Odoi, the NRM Electoral Commission chairperson, has acknowledged the concerns that were raised by President Museveni regarding reported irregularities in the NRM primaries for parliamentary flag bearers. Odoi confirmed that any mistakes made during the primaries will be addressed by the independent elections disputes tribunal, as guided by the party chairman. In the same vein, several candidates who were declared as winners in the primaries continue to visit the party headquarters to defend their victory, following petitions filed against them by their rivals.
