Uganda marks day of the African Child in Kamwenge
Most African countries are commemorating the African Child's Day. National celebrations are being held at Kyabenda Primary School in Kahunge Town Council Kamwenge District. Fred Ngabirano, the Youth and Children Welfare commissioner, says Kamwenge District has high numbers of children's rights violations. The district also has the biggest numbers of children in refugee camps such is Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement where children are not exercising most of their rights such as education and shelter
