St. Stephen’s catholic church launches textile skilling centre to tackle youth unemployment in Teso
In an effort to combat rising youth unemployment across the Teso sub-region, the local community of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Katakwi Town Council has launched a textile skilling and development centre worth millions of shillings.
The centre is expected to create permanent, full-time job opportunities for 100 youths, equipping them with practical skills to support sustainable livelihoods and economic growth in the region.
