NUP sticks to stance against IPOD Funding, raises over UGX 1.6 billion in 2 days
The opposition National Unity Platform says it is maintaining its objection to obtaining government funding through the Inter-Party Organisation for Dialogue but remains committed to accomplishing its objectives in the upcoming general elections. The strong objection comes in the wake of a fundraiser through which the party has collected over 1.6 billion shillings in two days, out of the 9 billion sought.
