Special parliamentary committee to investigate Minister Musenero over corruption
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has constituted a five member select committee to investigate allegations of corruption and mismanagement of funds against Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Monica Musenero. The money was to fund the development of a locally made COVID-19 vaccine. Ntungamo municipality MP Yona Musinguzi tabled documents implicating Musenero. The Select Committee chaired by Ibanda South MP, Xavier Kyooma will report to parliament in two weeks.
