NRM grassroots elections marred by violence
It has been an eventful day for the NRM, which held grassroots elections for flag bearers in the LC-I, with some violence reported in certain areas due to disagreements among local leaders. Rosemary Seninde, the National Resistance Movement's Director for Mobilization, described the developments in these areas as "unfortunate."
