Nalukoola defends by-election win amid missing documents, bribery claims
Kawempe North MP Elias Nalukoola has taken the witness stand to defend his victory in the March by-election, where he defeated NRM's Faridah Nambi, who subsequently petitioned the court to challenge Nalukoola's win. However, Nalukoola has had a difficult start after his lawyers failed to attach crucial supporting documents in his response to Nambi's election petition. These documents include copies of election results, also known as Declaration Forms.
