Lawyers weigh in on the tabled UPDF (amendment) Bill
After the UPDF Act was read again in parliament today, several lawyers have expressed concern about the issue. They say this is aimed at retrying the detainees in the military court, despite the Supreme Court quashing the court’s proceedings and ordering parliament to amend the UPDF Act.
