DP delegates protest party primaries
Democratic Party members have protested against the manner in which the electoral process in the delegates' conference was conducted and are demanding that reforms be carried out to enable a fairer result. Elections to choose new leaders in the party descended into chaos after some of the nominated candidates were abruptly removed from the ballot.
