Dozens of Kasese farmers lose tomato gardens to pests
Farmers in the Mubuku irrigation scheme are counting losses after a strange pest wiped out their crops. The farmers say they have different types of pesticides but the pest is resistant. The affected areas include Mubuku irrigation scheme, Kyondo farms Karusandara and Muhokya all in Kasese district. Tomato farmers have been the most affected by the disaster.
