West Nile humanities teachers join nationwide strike
Humanities teachers in the West Nile region have announced their willingness to join a national strike declared by their leaders yesterday. The industrial action by members of the Uganda Professional Humanities Teachers’ Union begins today, with teachers faulting the government for failing to raise their salaries—a promise made last year.
