Uganda-DRC trade boosted as border posts reopen
The Ishasha border post, which connects Uganda to the DRC through Goma City, is once again operational after four years of closure. Trade between Uganda and the DRC is poised to improve following the reopening of three border posts that had not been operating for several years. These border posts include Bunagana, Ishasha, and Keshero in Kanungu and Kisoro districts, which link Uganda to the DRC through Goma City.
