Stakeholders decry continued closure of 54 CSOs
The Civil Society Organizations in Uganda have held a press conference to release their annual general report. The report hinted on four major issues. Among them, Civil Society Organization tasks the government to explain why they closed 54 organizations. Mercy Munduru, the program’s manager Action Aid Uganda says that the government has for a long time branded them politicians. They admit that they are political but not partisan.
