Museveni hails MPs for fighting corruption, amending UPDF Act
President Museveni has praised Members of Parliament for their efforts in fighting corruption and for passing a bill that amended the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) Act. He added that they have helped the country prevent future gun violence. He made these remarks yesterday during a meeting with leaders in Greater Luweero, while on his tour to inspect the progress of the Parish Development Model.
