Ministry of Health conducts emergency drill ahead of Martyrs Day
With just days to the annual Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations, the Ministry of Health and its partners have staged a high-level emergency simulation at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo. The drill, which simulated a mass casualty incident involving multiple injuries and fatalities among pilgrims, was aimed at testing the country’s readiness to respond to emergencies during the 3rd June commemoration.
