Minister Muyingo urges schools to follow new guidelines to improve learning and discipline
The State Minister for Higher Education, Dr. John Chrysestom Muyingo, has urged schools to abide by the new guidelines passed by the government to improve the learning process for students across the country. Dr. Muyingo made the call while speaking at the Catholic Shrine in Namugongo during a pilgrimage mass for school children, led by the Archbishop of Kampala, Paul Ssemogerere. He explained that the regulations—which include banning excessive partying in schools and restricting the bringing of cooked food by parents during visitation—are intended to maintain discipline among students.
