Leaders want to turn Kibwetere site into a tourism site
On March 16, 2000, in south-western Uganda’s Kanungu District, 700 followers of the Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God died in an inferno. The site where they died has since been abandoned and it’s now bushy. However, local leaders are planning to turn it into a tourism site.
