Kaliro NTC principal arrested over alleged UGX 120 million loss
The Principal of Kaliro National Teachers' College, Evelyn Grace Lanyero, has been arrested by the Inspector General of Government over allegations of causing a financial loss of Shs 120 million to the government. Regional Inspectorate Officer Fredrick Oketch alleges that Lanyero and the college's accountant, Clement Okiria Epalat, made irregular payments to Nissi Restaurant and Take Away for meals and refreshments for participants in an Information and Computer Technology retooling workshop.
