Aviation police release NUP leaders arrested in Entebbe over unlawful assembly
Aviation Police have released several National Unity Platform leaders in Entebbe who were arrested last week for allegedly holding an unlawful assembly and being a public nuisance. The nine leaders, including Lilian Babirye and Stuart Lubwama, are among those vying for parliamentary seats. The group had gathered at one of their members' homes in Kigungu to mobilize youth for the upcoming elections.
