Kyambogo University students protest registration fees
Police have fired teargas and live bullets to disperse rowdy students of Kyambogo University who were protesting over the Shs50,000 surcharge that was slapped on any student who registers after six weeks of the semester.
The students, led by their Guild president Benjamin Akiso were also demanding that University management allow students who haven't completed their tuition to sit for end-of-semester examinations.
