76 patent cases recorded in lock-down
More than 75 patent cases were registered last month alone as businesses adapted to new ways of working due to the pandemic, according to the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, the surge was attributed to a raft of restrictions aimed at stemming the spread Covid-19 pandemic, as several businesses were started in homes, with little or no access to Intellectual Property registration.
