CAF switches Express FC return leg from Khartoum to Obeid
Uganda’s representatives in this season’s CAF Champions League have relocated from Khartoum to Obeid city in Sudan. This is as Express Football Club prepare to face Al-Merrikh in Sunday’s return leg. The development comes hot on the heels of African football governing body Caf red-flagging Al-Hilal Stadium which had been earmarked to host Sunday’s decisive match. The Red Eagles edged past Al-Merrikh 2-1 last Friday at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende. They will advance to the next qualifying round if they avoid defeat.
