Verification exercise to weed out ghost teachers begins
The Education Service Commission on Monday started the field validation of teaching and non-teaching staff in secondary and tertiary institutions, with the aim of wiping out ghost teachers who are still on the payroll. Phase one of the exercise kicked off in the central region and is expected to run up to March 4.
