Uganda Red Cross disappointed with delay in Disaster Bill
The Uganda Red Cross Society and legislators on the Parliamentary Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction say they are disappointed with the government for the delay in tabling the Disaster Risk Management Bill. They want the government to fast-track the enactment of the law, given that many areas of the country are prone to disasters. Benjamin Jumbe attended a stakeholders' meeting on the progress of the Bill.
