Uganda, DRC agree to cooperate on defence matters
Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have agreed to cooperate on defence matters, targeting all armed groups and not just the Allied Democratic Forces. Defence and Veteran Affairs minister Vincent Ssempijja and his Congolese counterpart, Dr Gilbert Kabanda signed on behalf of their respective countries in Bunia. The officials also discussed matters of mutual defence interest and cooperation.
