The rise of Uganda’s first female Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja
President Museveni recently unveiled his new cabinet. One of the most eye catching appointments was that of Kakumiro woman MP and outgoing state minister for health in charge of General duties Robinah Nabbanja as Prime Minister. Her appointment came as a surprise to many Ugandans, as she is the first female prime minister in Uganda's history, and also the youngest ever to hold that position in over 55 years.
