Parliament passes bill to regulate mining activities
Parliament has rejected a proposal by the government requiring a person to acquire a license before prospecting, exploring, Mining and processing any building substances, such as sand, clay and stones for commercial purposes. While passing the Mining and Mineral’s Bill, the House Committee resolved that regulating Building materials under this bill, would hike the cost of construction in the country.
