Opposition MPs walkout led by LOP Joel Ssenyonyi
A section of Opposition Members of Parliament led by the leader of Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, walked out of parliament as the UPDF Amendment Bill was being tabled in the August House for the second and third reading. NTV caught up with some of the MPs who had protested the vote, on grounds that they did not want to legitimize what they termed as an illegal process of making laws.
