Political Parties and organizations Amendment Bill passed
Parliament has passed the political parties and organizations amendment bill that seeks to streamline the criteria for public funding of political parties and organizations. The bill has been passed with an amendment restricting funding and access to other public resources to only those political parties and organizations that are active members of the National Consultative Forum and Inter Party Organization for Dialogue - IPOD.
