MPs want NSSF amendment bill reintroduced as soon as possible
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) amendment bill could get back on the floor of parliament next week. The law, which passed with the conclusion of the 10th house, is now barred by rules that stop the 11th house from embracing unfinished business from the previous legislature. The Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development is working to secure cabinet approval of the redraft to allow speedy reintroduction in parliament.
