Ministry of Health launches Uganda HIV Impact Assessment 2024-2025
The Ministry of Health has called on all Ugandans to embrace and actively participate honestly in the Uganda Population-based HIV Impact Assessment 2024–2025, which will commence next month. The call came as the ministry, together with partners, launched the third round of the HIV national household survey aimed at assessing key HIV health indicators, including incidence, prevalence, viral load suppression, and risk behaviours, to inform future interventions. The survey, to be conducted in 191 villages across the country, is expected to attract 15,000 participants from 6,700 households.
