Ministry, land board disagree over disputes
The Lands Ministry has called for the immediate suspension of all officials of the Lira district land board. This follows numerous public complaints, accusing board members of misconduct, involving corruption and influence-peddling in land matters in the district. This is not the first time that the lands ministry is intervening in Lira district land matters.
