Lack of funding identified as huge gap in fighting GBV
The call for prevention and elimination of violence Against women and girls continues through various institutions, individuals and organisations. The lack of funding and sensitisation of leaders at grass root level regarding the Act on gender based violence has been highlighted as one of the gaps that has led to miss management of GBV cases which affects access to justice. This was revealed at a national conference in Kampala.
