KCCA to investigate violence against vendors
Kampala Capital City Authority is investigating circumstances under which street vendors working along Mukwano and Namirembe were badly beaten by its enforcement officers under the Smart City campaign. The Authority says the move to get vendors off the streets is yet to start. However, Raymond Tamale reports, the vendors are still upset over the harsh treatment by the enforcement officers.
