KCCA moves to deal with street children
Kampala Capital City Authority officials have expressed concern about the rising number of street children within the city centre and its suburbs. According to the Authority’s spokesperson Juliet Muwanguzi, the rising numbers pose a threat to its plans of reorganizing and cleaning up the city under its Kampala Smart city initiative. The authority is now putting together a plan on how these children can be removed from the streets indefinitely.
