House Committee approves new presidential appointees
Maj. Gen Geoffrey Tumusiime Katsigazi, who was recently appointed Deputy Inspector of Police says the appointing authority is in a better position to explain the posting of military men to the police force. Katsigazi who was vetted by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, says the army and police are all security organs and once they are appointed, they follow the laws that govern the police.
