COVID-19 PREVENTION: Noting the switch from prevention to vaccination
Governments all over the world are moving towards easing the stringent measures they set up about two years ago to try and prevent the wild spread of COVID-19. Measures like compulsory wearing of masks in public and social distancing are being reviewed. However, the emphasis is now on scaling up of vaccination. This is to boost immunity and reduce the disease burden for the vulnerable groups especially.
