Acholi MPs accuse Museveni of failing on Balaalo eviction
Members of Parliament from the Acholi Parliamentary Group are accusing President Museveni of failing to enforce his own directives, following a delay in evicting migrant herdsmen, commonly known as the Balaalo, from northern Uganda. The MPs, speaking days after the expiry of the presidential deadline, claim the President is applying double standards and question his commitment to resolving longstanding land conflicts in the region.
