UGANDA AIRLINES: Carrier buys equipment, awaits concession to begin ground handling
Perhaps to lift it from loss-making positions fuelled by the COVID-19 pandemic and other economic factors, once it commences ground handling that has been delayed for two years now, Uganda airlines has started procuring equipment and equipping in house staff with the necessary training to begin it’s own ground handling. Officials believe self-handling will save the carrier millions of dollars in expenses.
