Tourism Performance: Visitor arrivals surge by 58%
The latest annual tourism report 2022 shows, Uganda has registered a rise in the number of visitor arrivals at 58% up from half a million to eight hundred fourteen thousand, five hundred and eight in 2021. Officials say, that while there remains a lot to be done, this could be a sign of a full recovery, with the sector performance having been badly hit by the Coivd 19 pandemic.
