Bank sector players confused about regulation
Perhaps for historical reasons that point a finger at the Bank of Uganda for leading to the closure of the former cooperative bank, the team behind its revival lacks confidence as to whether the current regulatory environment will favor the true aspirations of the cooperative Bank. The team has until November to finalize their plan before meeting President Museveni on the way forward. Betty Ndagire has more.
