ABSA ECONOMIC OUTLOOK: Low vaccination threatens growth
In it’s new economic outlook report for sub saharan Africa, for the month of June, ABSA bank researchers indicate that Uganda is lagging behind set targets on vaccinations, situation that poses a risk to projected growth levels of 4.1% for the year, on account of new covid 19 containment measures and as government ramps up a vaccinations. According to the ministry of health updates for today, more than one million Ugandan’s have been vaccinated (1,110,867)
