PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS: Kyagulanyi claims people in security support him
The presidential candidate of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu has claimed that he has the support of security forces. Kyagulanyi made the boastful claims while campaigning in Kanungu District in his ongoing vote-hunt in Kigezi sub-region. He also praised former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president and four-time presidential candidate, Dr. Kizza Besigye, saying that he had mentored him in politics. Besigye hails from neighbouring Rukungiri District.
